Taiga’s Taproom

Taiga’s Taproom is a small home brewery in Boston, run by a husband and wife team. After deciding to serve their own beer at their wedding, they decided to professionalize their brewery by hiring Barley Creative to design a logo.

Because they are a home brewery, and the couple enjoys serving their beer to friends and family in their home, we decided to choose something important to their home life to represent in the logo. We landed on their beloved cat, Taiga, who runs the house. The brewery — or taproom — is named after her, and we used a cat silhouette as the logo’s mark.

While the Taiga Taproom logo serves for the entire brewery operation, we have also designed bottle labels for two of their beers: the Strawberry Blonde Irish Ale and the Kimchi IPA. These two particular brews served as “his and hers” drinks at their wedding in 2019.
